The Big Flat Native Plant Nursery is located in the Upper Salmon River Valley, five miles north of the City of Salmon. Since 2007, we have worked closely with land owners and project managers in plant selection and custom harvest of native species for restoration projects.
Our crew can recommend suitable vegetation for restoration, site enhancement and weed control. We can harvest starts directly from project sites or grow from rooted stock and hold plants in our nursery.
We retain partnerships with many native plant nurseries around the state and are able to help obtain most native species and seed mixes that will thrive in the Idaho.
Restoration, preservation, and the beautiful country we live in are very important to us. We are committed to supporting our community by providing employment for the local workforce and encourage you to call for a tour of the nursery.
