We offer a seven room Bed & Breakfast on the second floor of an historic guesthouse, as well as a two-bed suite on the main floor with a private half bath. We have renovated our rooms while still maintaining the appeal and ambiance of the original boarding house. The upstairs rooms are private and comfortable, with one and a half shared bathrooms just a few steps away.
Located on the banks of the Salmon River, the Challis Hot Springs campground is a tranquil retreat. Most of our sites are shaded by mature trees that offer an added level of comfort. All of our campers have access to a fire pit, fresh drinking water, 50-amp power service, and of course, the hot spring pools.
We offer 13 tent sites and 33 RV sites.
The natural mineral springs at the Challis Hot Springs are fed from an underground geothermal source. The water bubbles up through our two gravel-bottom pools at nearly 3 cubic feet per second. The gravel bottoms allow for the mineral springs to continually fill, providing a constant circulation of fresh water. This constant flow provides a healthier environment for our guests as the need for chemical treatments is minimal.
